Let's Go Ice Skating!

Hey, come on out! The pond has frozen over and they have ice skates up for rent. It doesn't matter whether you know how or not, it'll still be fun! Falling down a little builds character. How about we teach each other? Oh, uh, I'm not sure if you should just be colliding into people like that. That's pretty mean, and also maybe likely to get us kicked out. Hey, wait, be careful! Brake, brake, look out look out look out--!

[The less said about Souji's... skills on the ice, the better, really. He's already on the ice, eager to get started.]

C'mon, are you two seriously going to give up just like that? We haven't even started! [He's definitely, definitely bad at this, but Souji, for one, isn't about to let P5-kun show him up!! He takes a wobbly step forward--

--only to immediately lose his balance and go toppling over in a flurry of flailing limbs. Smooth.]

[ Challenge words don't work on someone who's long adopted a "doudemo ii" lifestyle, Souji. (Exercise was always gross feeling, he really only went to a PE club for his Social Link, too.) But he admittedly still kinda feels bad for the latter's unfortunate tumble in the face of his enthusiasm, and with a small sigh pushes himself up from his chair, to take an unsteady stand and the steps to get on the ice...

The regret was only growing. Minato had intended to go and help Souji up, but instead, he was afraid to let go of his grip on the railing. Feeling the cold on his knuckles, his anxious glare was pasted on the floor by his feet as his ankles outright refused to keep him completely upright. He waits a few seconds, between each move forward... but his luck won't hold out forever. Regardless, it didn't look like any progress would be fast either, on his front.

Maybe Tatsuya would fare better? ]

[ Well.

Tatsuya definitely knows a losing battle when he sees it. But Tatsuya's different - for he has the gods of Physical Education on his side. Yes sir, it's his favorite part of school and the fruits of his physical labor won't let him down today.

He takes a bold step forward on the ice. Apollo rumbles disapprovingly, but a man can't back down now. Even when said man ends up darting all the way to the opposite wall, with the glass as his only face cushion. Good fight, good fight. Tatsuya quickly leans on his side to do his usual lighter flicking idle animation.

So Tatsuya doesn't know how to brake. Sorry guys, you're on your own. ]

[... there was an attempt, at least. Souji's tumble doesn't discourage him, at least, and he's making another attempt--this one to get back on his feet.

His Diligence won't allow him to give up so quickly! Eventually (with a lot of help from the railing), he gets back up, and...

[ Finally, a misstep slides on one of his legs drastically forward, and the rest of his weight back and Minato only keeps himself barely standing...Er, more like hanging on. Barely. He pulls on the handrail for a lift,

--Failing at that, he collides with the ice and hurts his butt.

Despite gravity's damage, he'd be satisfied just sitting there, if it weren't so damn cold. Noticing Souji's glance, he frowns. ]

I give up. Let's go do something else.

[ And it took less than five minutes. If there was ever a pout from Minato that looked more childish than lifeface-y, it would be this one. ]
